Hon. Rotimi Abiru who represents Shomolu Constituency two at the Lagos State House of Assembly has called on Muslims to use this period of Eid-el-fitri Celebration to pray for an end to health crisis facing the country and world at large occasioned by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Abiru who is the immediate past chief whip of the Lagos state house of assembly congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration which follows the successful observance of the month-long Ramadan fast.

He urged Muslims to offer special prayers for the world to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and also pray for peace, unity and economy recovery in Nigeria and also to use the sallah to reach out to the vulnerable in their areas.

Furthermore, his goodwill message was directed to the Muslims Ummahs, the people of Shomolu, Bariga (his constituency) and Lagos State in general.

He urged everyone to reflect on the lessons of virtues sacrifice, forgiveness, piety, self-denial and genuine love towards one another preached during Ramadan.
