Guguru FM's CEO - Kingsley Momoh Honoured In Abeokuta Alongside Dayo Adeneye, Wale Rubber.



Guguru FM's helmsman, Mr. Kingsley Momoh was the recipient of an award in respect of his contributions to entertainment and talent development in Nigeria by Dvibes entertainment, an organization made up of students of the Federal university of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria. The group are the organizers of the biggest campus dance festival in Ogun state tagged - A thousand ways to dance atw2d.
At the 2016 edition of their franchise "A Thousand Ways To Dance", held 9th of March at the Yakubu Mahmood hall at the University campus in Abeokuta, the CEO Mr. Charles Owajoba while presenting the award to Mr. Momoh said that the likes of Kingsley Momoh are the ones Nigeria should be commending as a way of encouraging them to do more for the youths of the nation. Owajoba noted that the entertainment world is gradually been run by young and enterprising people unlike in the past hoping that soon, same will happen to politics and governance. He pointed out the music industry which hitherto was controlled by the older generation but as the situation is right now, the young ones are holding sway because they were encouraged and inspired by the likes of Kingsley Momoh.
The CEO of Guguru FM is a broadcaster and he has at different times worked as the Editor of the Bisi Olatilo Show (BOS) Magazine, Castles Magazine among others. He is certified public relations practitioner and an actor and television producer.

Other recipients of awards at the event were the commissioner for information and strategy in Ogun state, Otunba Dayo Adeneye D1 whose effort alongside that of Keke Ogungbe who runs the affairs of RayPower FM in making the music industry what it is today cannot be overemphasized. The likes of music colossus; Tuface Idibia, the remedies and much more are testimonies of their efforts.

Popular Dancer and dance instructor, Wale Shodare popularly know as Wale rubber was also recognised for his contributions in making dance a choice career haven trained over a thousand dancers in Nigeria.

Other recipients were the CEO of Sulcata entertainment, Oraka Nanyelu whose midas touch has seen splendid job been done in organizing Miss Unilag pageant annually and many other youth empowerment and development projects.

Mr. Momoh in an interview with Guguru FM said that he was humbled by the decision of the organizers to recognize him in such a way alongside the other recipients. He said Nigerian youths are blessed with so much talent that if not well harnessed can become a curse, hence his interest in ensuring that young people are given proper knowledge at the foundation stage to understand that what they have is a talent and can be used to bless themselves, their immediate environment and the world at large.
