NIPR Postpones Lagos Election
March 10, 2016 has been scheduled for the much anticipated 2016 election into the executive offices of the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of
Public Relations (NIPR), which supposed to hold Thursday 25
February 2016.
According to sources, the new date came about as a result of the inability of the national President, Dr. Rotimi Oladele to personally witness the election because he would not be in town. Although there was no official reason given for the postponement.
The election which seems to be the most talked about in NIPR's recent history is keenly contested by Mr. Olusegun McMedal, Chief Reputation Strategist of Upticomm, Joseph Okonmah, whose second term election was annulled in July 2015 by the national body, and Rev, Olushola Niyi, the immediate past Caretaker Chairman.
The election hold at the HOCAL suites of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, Yaba on March 10.
