Federal
University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state (FUNAAB) and other higher
institutions in Ogun State is about to experience a novelty in entertainment as
Dvibes Entertainment an organization with a vision to empower Nigerian youths in
the entertainment sector presents A THOUSAND WAYS TO DANCE, which the organizers hope will set a landmark
by changing the lives of many dancers and enthusiasts at FUNAAB and
other major cities around Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Speaking
to Guguru FM, Charles Owajoba who is the chief executive officer of Dvibes Entertainment
explained that the choice of FUNAAB for the first edition is due to a research
that showed that students of the institution are highly talented in creative
art creativity artistry but aren’t given ample opportunities to showcase and
boost them.
Proposed to hold January 2015 at the
Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun state (FUNAAB), A THOUSAND
WAYS TO DANCE is a dance competition which will be strictly on group basis. The event aims to equip participants with
knowledge of latest dance steps across the globe with amazing prizes for
winners.
The
objectives of A THOUSAND WAYS TO DANCE include showcasing students’ skills in areas of dance, music and comedy;
test dancers’ understanding of important dancing skills; equip participants
with knowledge of emerging trends in the entertainment industry; provide a
platform of interaction and collaboration between youths of different institutions
of learning and professionals Dancers.
A THOUSAND WAYS TO DANCE
apart from dance will also include comedy, and music performances by up and
coming artistes and established acts.
There will also be a fashion show and red carpet interviews.
The
